Managed IT Services · Dallas & North Texas
Fully managed IT for companies that want to hand the whole function over, and co-managed IT for those with internal staff who need backup, tooling and after-hours coverage.
Managed IT Services
Hourly IT support creates a quiet conflict of interest. The provider earns more when things break, and nothing in the arrangement rewards them for preventing the failure in the first place. Most businesses only notice the cost of that once they add up a year of invoices.
Managed IT services invert the incentive. You pay a fixed monthly fee per user. We take responsibility for keeping the environment healthy — monitoring, patching, security, backup and support — which means every problem we prevent is time we get back. Your interests and ours point the same direction.
Texas Communication Services has delivered managed IT to businesses across Dallas and North Texas for over two decades. You get 24/7 monitoring, a named engineer who knows your environment rather than a rotating queue, and a cost you can put in a budget twelve months ahead.
What's included
No asterisks, no "available as an add-on" surprises after signature. If it is on this list, it is in the price.
Agents on every server, workstation and network device, watching disk health, service failures, backup jobs and security events around the clock.
Your staff call or email directly. No per-ticket charges, no rationing support because the budget is tight this month.
Operating systems, browsers and third-party applications patched on a tested schedule — the single highest-value security control most businesses skip.
Managed antivirus and EDR across every device, centrally monitored so an infection on one machine is visible immediately.
A specific engineer who knows your network, your applications and your quirks. Escalation has a name attached, not a queue position.
We deal with your ISP, your line-of-business software vendor and your hardware suppliers, so your staff do not spend their afternoon on hold.
A live record of what you own, what it cost, when it expires and when it needs replacing — reviewed at every business review.
A scheduled conversation about what broke, what is ageing, what is coming and what it will cost. No surprises at renewal.

Why it matters
Every engagement starts with an assessment you keep whether or not you hire us. It is a documented audit, not a sales exercise.
A free onsite assessment covering asset inventory, security posture, backup verification and licence audit. You keep the report either way.
We document the environment, deploy monitoring agents, take over licences and credentials, and fix anything urgent the assessment surfaced.
Monitoring runs continuously. Your staff use the helpdesk. Patches and backups run on schedule and are verified, not assumed.
Quarterly business reviews covering incidents, ageing hardware, upcoming projects and budget — so planning replaces firefighting.
Where we deliver it
Same engineers, same monitoring stack, same escalation path in every city we serve.
questions
Most Dallas businesses pay between $100 and $200 per user per month for fully managed IT. The range depends on how many servers you run, whether you have compliance obligations like HIPAA, and how much cybersecurity tooling is bundled in. Quotes noticeably below that range usually exclude security software, backup, or onsite visits — so compare what is actually included rather than the headline number. We quote per user after a free assessment.
Fully managed means we take responsibility for the entire IT function. Co-managed means we work alongside your existing internal person or team — they keep ownership of what they do best, and we supply enterprise monitoring and security tooling, after-hours and holiday coverage, project capacity and escalation support. Co-managed is usually far cheaper than a second internal hire and removes the single-point-of-failure risk.
Yes. Provider transitions are routine for us. We document your environment, collect credentials and licences, run a security and backup audit, then cut over on a scheduled date — usually with no downtime for staff. Most transitions complete within two to four weeks, and we plan around your existing contract's end date.
The prevention layer. Break-fix pays someone to arrive after the failure. Managed IT includes continuous monitoring that catches failing drives and expiring certificates first, scheduled patching, verified backups, endpoint protection, licence tracking and quarterly planning. The support call is the smallest part of the service.
Yes. We serve eight cities across North and Central Texas — see our locations page for coverage and response times. Multi-site businesses are supported under a single agreement with one helpdesk number and consistent security standards at every location.
Remote support typically begins within 15 minutes of a ticket being raised, and most issues are resolved without anyone leaving their desk. When a problem needs hands on site, we dispatch same-day across the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex during business hours, with emergency after-hours response available on managed agreements.
A free, no-obligation assessment. You keep the findings report either way.

“Raul Escalante and the rest of the group at Texas Communication Services (TCS) have been an integral part of our rapid growth. TCS immediately came out to set up our four offices as soon as we retained their services. I explained how I wanted our setup & informed them we needed to be up & running ASAP so that we as a firm could focus on retaining new clients and growing our business. Raul more than delivered on what we needed. TCS is always available for assistance and provides service with a great attitude. Texas Communication Services is now built into our business plan for future expansion. I recommend TCS to anyone I run into that needs high-quality IT services.”
“As a professional photographer in Dallas, I rely on my computer and backup drives to keep our client’s images safe for years to come. We use several drives to keep copies of all edited and unedited images in duplicate. One of my 8T drives wouldn’t let me in one day; it kept saying something about needing an admin. I contacted the manufacturer, and they told me to wipe the drive and start over with it. Several other photographers told me to just throw it away. Although I had the images on other drives, I didn’t want to throw it away, so I contacted Raul at Texas Communication Services, and he took control of my computer remotely and within three minutes had the issue fixed. Nothing was wrong with the drive, just a setting on my computer. He saved me $$$ and lots of headaches. TCS will be my first call from now on!”
“I work at a church, and we are always conscious of saving money and using these savings for outreach in the community and around the world. I heard about Texas Communication Services from a personal friend and decided to contact them for our phone service. We were ready to switch providers. Raul Escalante and Scott Donihoo came out and made that happen. They also got me out of a contract with the previous provider! These guys were so professional, and they took the time to explain how to use all of the features of our phones. I am not a techy person, but they walked me through it step by step. The church recently installed programmable thermostats throughout the whole church. Scott programmed the thermostats and taught us how to use the app on our phones. I have also used Texas Communication Services when I had issues on the church computer. Scott remotely fixed the issue and had me up and running again in a very short time! I would highly recommend TCS – they are very qualified IT Techs.”
“To Whom It May Concern,
I had the good fortune of being referred to Texas Communication Services by our home movers in February of this year. My wife and I, beyond middle age, were overwhelmed by the complexity of moving our computers, televisions, DIRECTV service, and landlines while in the process of “down-sizing”. Raul Escalante and his business partner, Scott Donihoo, arrived on the scene and literally took total control of the process and made the transition go perfectly. They actually packed up our computer, printer, and other peripherals and transported it all to our new home, where they set it up just like it was, with the exception of several improvements. They set up our new Wi-Fi, dealt with the AT&T people, and got our phones and our internet set up with appropriate coverage so we have service throughout the house.
The DIRECTV people arrived and had no clue what needed to be done. Raul and Scott spent several hours helping them get it figured out. I truly believe that we would still not have TV service without their involvement. They have helped us out on several other small issues over the past few months. Their service is outstanding. As a busy professional, I had neither the time nor the skill sets necessary to get our new home up and running electronically. Texas Communication Services was the answer. They are always available. In fact, on September 1st, my computer was taken over by a hacker. I called their number and received prompt responses from both Raul and Scott independently and on Labor Day weekend!!
I recommend Texas Communication Services to everyone. In fact, I have already referred them to my grown children and several business associates. I give them my highest recommendation.”
