IT Support & Consultation · Dallas & North Texas
Fast remote helpdesk for day-to-day problems, same-day onsite response when something needs hands, and strategic consultation when the question is bigger than a ticket.
IT Support & Consultation
The common complaint about outsourced IT is not that problems happen — it is the retelling. A new person on every call, the same background explained from scratch, the same reboot suggested before anyone looks at the actual logs.
We staff support differently. Your account has a named engineer who knows your network, your line-of-business applications and the specific quirks of your setup. When they are unavailable, the person covering has your documentation in front of them — not a blank screen and a script.
Alongside day-to-day support, we provide IT consultation for the decisions that sit above a ticket: whether to replace or extend ageing hardware, how to structure a cloud migration, what a compliance requirement actually demands, and where the budget is best spent over the next two years.
What's included
No asterisks, no "available as an add-on" surprises after signature. If it is on this list, it is in the price.
Phone, email and portal access for all staff. Most issues resolved in the first contact without anyone leaving their desk.
When hardware fails, cabling is involved or a problem needs eyes on the equipment, an engineer comes to you the same business day.
Available on managed agreements for the failures that do not wait for Monday.
A specific person who knows your environment, backed by written documentation so cover is seamless.
Account setup, device provisioning, access grants on day one — and complete, verified access revocation the day someone leaves.
Honest guidance on what to buy, when to replace and what you can safely defer. We are not reselling to a quota.
Structured planning sessions covering roadmap, budget, risk and compliance — so technology decisions are made ahead of time.
We work directly with your software vendors so support tickets do not bounce between suppliers with your staff in the middle.
Why it matters
Every engagement starts with an assessment you keep whether or not you hire us. It is a documented audit, not a sales exercise.
Staff reach the helpdesk directly by phone, email or portal. Every request is logged and assigned an owner immediately.
The engineer reviews your documented environment before responding — so the first question is not "what do you have?"
Most issues close remotely within the first contact. Anything needing hands is dispatched same-day.
Recurring faults are escalated into a root-cause review rather than being closed and reopened indefinitely.
Where we deliver it
Same engineers, same monitoring stack, same escalation path in every city we serve.
Questions
Remote support typically begins within 15 minutes of a ticket being raised. The large majority of issues are resolved in the first contact without an onsite visit. When hands are needed, we dispatch same-day across the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex during business hours.
Yes. We provide standalone IT support and consultation as well as full managed IT services. That said, support-only arrangements cannot include the preventive layer — monitoring, patching and verified backup — so problems tend to be caught later. We will be direct with you about that trade-off rather than selling around it.
Structured sessions covering the decisions that sit above day-to-day support: hardware refresh planning and budgeting, cloud migration strategy, compliance requirements and what they technically demand, security posture review, and a two-year roadmap. The output is a written plan, not a verbal recommendation.
Yes, on managed agreements. Emergency after-hours and weekend response is included so that a Friday-evening server failure does not become a Monday-morning crisis.
You have a named account engineer who handles the majority of your work and knows your environment. When they are on leave or unavailable, cover is provided by an engineer working from your documented environment — so you are not starting from scratch.
We provide onsite support across eight cities in North and Central Texas. See our locations page for the full list and the response window for each.
A free, no-obligation assessment. You keep the findings report either way.

“Raul Escalante and the rest of the group at Texas Communication Services (TCS) have been an integral part of our rapid growth. TCS immediately came out to set up our four offices as soon as we retained their services. I explained how I wanted our setup & informed them we needed to be up & running ASAP so that we as a firm could focus on retaining new clients and growing our business. Raul more than delivered on what we needed. TCS is always available for assistance and provides service with a great attitude. Texas Communication Services is now built into our business plan for future expansion. I recommend TCS to anyone I run into that needs high-quality IT services.”
“As a professional photographer in Dallas, I rely on my computer and backup drives to keep our client’s images safe for years to come. We use several drives to keep copies of all edited and unedited images in duplicate. One of my 8T drives wouldn’t let me in one day; it kept saying something about needing an admin. I contacted the manufacturer, and they told me to wipe the drive and start over with it. Several other photographers told me to just throw it away. Although I had the images on other drives, I didn’t want to throw it away, so I contacted Raul at Texas Communication Services, and he took control of my computer remotely and within three minutes had the issue fixed. Nothing was wrong with the drive, just a setting on my computer. He saved me $$$ and lots of headaches. TCS will be my first call from now on!”
“I work at a church, and we are always conscious of saving money and using these savings for outreach in the community and around the world. I heard about Texas Communication Services from a personal friend and decided to contact them for our phone service. We were ready to switch providers. Raul Escalante and Scott Donihoo came out and made that happen. They also got me out of a contract with the previous provider! These guys were so professional, and they took the time to explain how to use all of the features of our phones. I am not a techy person, but they walked me through it step by step. The church recently installed programmable thermostats throughout the whole church. Scott programmed the thermostats and taught us how to use the app on our phones. I have also used Texas Communication Services when I had issues on the church computer. Scott remotely fixed the issue and had me up and running again in a very short time! I would highly recommend TCS – they are very qualified IT Techs.”
“To Whom It May Concern,
I had the good fortune of being referred to Texas Communication Services by our home movers in February of this year. My wife and I, beyond middle age, were overwhelmed by the complexity of moving our computers, televisions, DIRECTV service, and landlines while in the process of “down-sizing”. Raul Escalante and his business partner, Scott Donihoo, arrived on the scene and literally took total control of the process and made the transition go perfectly. They actually packed up our computer, printer, and other peripherals and transported it all to our new home, where they set it up just like it was, with the exception of several improvements. They set up our new Wi-Fi, dealt with the AT&T people, and got our phones and our internet set up with appropriate coverage so we have service throughout the house.
The DIRECTV people arrived and had no clue what needed to be done. Raul and Scott spent several hours helping them get it figured out. I truly believe that we would still not have TV service without their involvement. They have helped us out on several other small issues over the past few months. Their service is outstanding. As a busy professional, I had neither the time nor the skill sets necessary to get our new home up and running electronically. Texas Communication Services was the answer. They are always available. In fact, on September 1st, my computer was taken over by a hacker. I called their number and received prompt responses from both Raul and Scott independently and on Labor Day weekend!!
I recommend Texas Communication Services to everyone. In fact, I have already referred them to my grown children and several business associates. I give them my highest recommendation.”
